Sending a file or files to a select group of people saves you time and allows you to identify who has access to the document. 

You can also remove one or more individuals from the group; they will no longer be able to see the file even if they had access to it previously. Whether you’re uploading or downloading the file, you will have full control of its progress You can choose to stop, pause, and resume different files. The program also allows you to queues files, group them into packages, and decompress RAR, ZIP and 7Z files. 

Security 

MegaDownloader promotes an efficient downloading process in an interface that is easy to follow. At the same time, it provides users with an open-source platform where files are protected with a cryptographic key. This form of security is generated from your own password so that only you can access and modify the files you upload. Modification includes allowing select users to view the file as well as changing its contents.

This differs from other cloud-based storage platforms like Google Drive or Dropbox as your network will only be limited to users that you have direct contact with. This means you will need to provide their email address whenever you need to give them access to a file. This includes users that do not have a MegaDownloader account. The file will always be safe as you will always know who has access to it. 

File sharing for private networks 

MegaDownloader offers allows you and a small group of individuals to share files with one another without the need for a WiFi connection. It is also a good alternative to web-based cloud sharing platforms as it requires you to have an individual’s email address to share the file. This allows you to trace those who have viewed or possibly shared the file through other means. Otherwise, the file should be secure as only the author is capable of sending and editing its contents.
