Worth it

A friend of mines recommended me this app as an introduction to usmle style questions. I have found it very useful in these past months to get familiar with the question style and the way boards will test us on topics, subjects, etc.
It was the first question bank I used for my study period and I like the fact that explanations are clear and punctual, as well as the first aid page number where you can find the info (something uworld doesn’t offer).
Overall; yes, I would recommend it to a friend.

Great review tool, not sure if/how much I’d pay for it

I came across this question bank last year is a first year medical student. The biggest draw was that it was free at the time. I have used it here in there as review for step one coming up in a few months as well as for certain local exams. I really like that they highlight pertinent information after you have answered the question. All in all, I really have nothing negative to say about the app, but, with that being said, there isn’t really anything super stellar about it either. I’m interested to see what the prices are and if they’re comparable to other question banks. They are very new, so it will be interesting to see how they rank with the other question banks that are paid. I wouldn’t use this as a first or even a second question bank, but if you already have two question banks and you’re interested in a third, I would consider using this one.

I’ve been using Pastest since 2017 and I have to admit that the format of the questions are very structured by the only thing I say is that the haven’t added enough questions with media or audio which it’s very important for USMLE Step 1. I had a problem in august 2019 when QBanks in custom settings didn’t let the timer appears downwards the windows page on my PC. I wrote to the customer service through email and they told me that the guy who works for those inquires gonna be out until beginnings of 2020, so I had to deal with that even I paid. Regarding with the app, the download of the questions to the device most of the times is very slow, even having 4 bars 5g LTE. It’s very important after finishing a QBank do the correction of the test which it’s unavailable at the moment and also you can’t do the Progressive Cases in the app. The app just serves you for ask questions and look your stats. Period. I hope the team works harder for a better app development even more because we paid for the subscription to see enhancements through the online and app facilities.
