Download windows 10 iso pureinfotech - think
Does anyone know where I can download the old 1909 version? This new 2004 version is giving us network share issues with Windows Server 2003 SMB.. Ive gone through google and cant get a resolution, so I am willing to clean install to 1909. Unfortunately I cannot downgrade, since this was a Windows 7 to 2004.
I checked our volume license portal, but I assume the software download for Windows 10 is 2004.

Never mind, I found the option within the volume license portal.

I have wondered this as well. Have systems that I need to upgrade from 1903 but don't want 2004 yet.

Can you just upgrade a system from 1903 to 1909 using this method without a complete reinstall?

I don't like using 3rd party tools for something as critical as downloading an OS, but I did find this because this subject intrigued me.

Apparently this utility gets older ISOs for Windows 10 (and even earlier). The problem is, I don't know where it's getting them from. It may be worthwhile looking at the GitHub code before using it. The website referenced above implies they're official ISOs from Microsoft but can anyone else vouch for Rufus to get old ISOs?
I'd be a whole lot more comfortable just getting them directly without a black box in front of it.

Yes you can directly in place upgrade. But when 1909 is installed, 2004 will eventually try to upgrade. Unless on VL, you don't have the right nor the easy way to stop updates.
