Super Smash Bros. Crusade is a free game that was built by three Smash Bros fans. It is a pixelated version of the 1999 Super Smash Bros. game, but they included all the characters they wish had been in the first game.

Super Smash Bros. Crusade is a game created by three Super Smash Bros. fans who took the 1999 version and created their own. Everything about the game was created by them; none of the original Nintendo code is in there. It is an unofficial game, which is why it is free. The graphics are pixelated, and the moves are very basic. However, different characters generate different animations for each move. For example, a forward swipe from Rayman may throw a detachable punch, whereas it will generate a power ball from female Tails. It is also fun to play the Qbert arena where you may also play the Qbert game while fighting.

Super Smash Bros. Crusade may pale in comparison to the many versions of Super Smash Bros. that came out after the 1999 version, but it is still a great game that was clearly created by three people who love the game. Since its creation in 2015, the developers have added many patches and additions without being paid. Even people with a passing fancy for Nintendo will love the novelty of fighting with characters that the Nintendo company didn't bother to add into their official games.
