Based on a novel "Hanayoi Douchuu" by Ayako Miyagi, a winner of the "5th By Women For Women R-18 Literary Prize" in 2006, which also got adapted into manga and sold over 300,000 copies.
Asagiri was born and grown up as a prostitute in Yoshiwara, living out her days without knowing neither joy nor sadness. Once her contract ends, she will leave. That is, until she falls in love for the first time with an artisan named Hanjirou
