Click on File Manager in the app tray to browse and open files stored on the phone, SD card, and USB storage devices.

You can find files by browsing the storage locations listed in the Sources pane of the File Manager window.

Smart folders show all images, videos, music, or downloaded files stored anywhere on your phone or SD card. You can only view Smart folders, and cannot save files in them, rename, or remove them.

Removable storage devices can be an SD card in your phone or a USB storage device connected with your dock.

Note: If the Sources pane does not show all of your storage locations, go to the phone home screen in Mobile View, select Settings > SD card & device storage, then confirm that the SD card or phone storage is mounted.

To search for a file or folder by name:

1. Open File Manager.
2. Select a location to search from the Sources pane.
3. Click, then enter the full or partial name of the file or folder you want to find.

To open a file in File Manager, do any of the following:

• Double-click the file to open it in the default application.
• If multiple applications can open the selected file type, right-click the file and choose the application you want to open the file.

You can download files from web sites, email, and other web applications. For example, you can download a spreadsheet attached to an email and open it with the QuickOffice app on your phone after undocking.

The webtop application stores files you download in the downloads folder on the SD card, unless you choose a different location. If you need to access a downloaded file later from your phone while on the go, store it on the SD card or in internal memory. Otherwise, store the file on a USB storage device.

If you download a .zip or other archive, the webtop application asks if you want to expand the archive when you download it. To extract an archive after downloading it, right-click the file and choose Open with Xarchiver.

To move files between folders or storage locations, do one of the following:

• Right-click the file you want to move, select Cut, then right-click and paste the file at the new location.
• Open two File Manager windows, then drag files between the windows.

The webtop application will notify you when the available storage space in the phone (internal storage only) is low. If this occurs, follow the on-screen instructions to delete cached files and unneeded files from the phone. Deleting files from the SD card, which is separate from the phone memory, will not free up phone memory.
