Samsung Device app and Dropbox
As of October 2019, Dropbox no longer supports connection to the Samsung My Files or Photos app. If you previously enabled the Samsung My Files or Photos app, your files won’t be deleted or modified as a result of this change. To continue accessing your Dropbox files on your Samsung device, download the Dropbox mobile app.
How to disable the Samsung My Files or Photos app
On your mobile device:
- Tap your device's menu button.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Cloud.
- Look for Documents or DocumentSync (sometimes called "ContentSync") in your Dropbox account info.
- Toggle off.
On dropbox.com:
- Sign in to dropbox.com.
- Click your profile picture (or grey circle) in the upper right corner.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Connected apps tab.
- Find the Samsung My Files or Photos app under Apps with access to your Dropbox.
- Click the X to the right of Samsung My Files or Photos app.
